Who We Are

We are a team of weather enthusiasts who rely on government grants to provide important weather information.

That is the simple version but how did we get here?

A group of likeminded individuals left further education with the idea to study their local weather, find patterns and see if the information they got had a larger bearing. It turns out that it did.

The work we did in our spare time with amateur equipment soon became the backbone of the study that we do today that helps provide information on climate change and pollution on a local basis as well as on a bigger scale.

The operation has grown, as has our funding, to allow us to become who we are today and we see this site as a way of giving something back to the public and those that have supported us over the years.

Being able to provide accurate weather information is something that we are extremely proud of and the site has grown in stature which in turn has helped us as an organisation grow.

We have been extremely lucky to carry out work in place we'd never have expected to be in: from work on Arthur's seat in Edinburgh, to monitoring wind patterns while looking for things to do in Kos, to seeing the majestic scenery on the walls of Derry City.

We hope to be able to continue to explore this fascinating area of research and to keep this site to pass the information we find on to the public.

If you are interested in finding out more about us please to not hesitate to get in touch with us, we would be more than happy to explain how we come to our findings.
